Here at Level Up Dice we are always looking at different ways to bring new fresh ideas to dice. From day 1 Level Up Dice have had an RND team, their soul focus is on experimenting designs and testing them for your enjoyment. This team is an important part of any company to maintain growth and development. In a constantly evolving industry it is always effective to keep moving forward and branching out into new directions. From this we bring you our innovative products of 2019.

Flametouched Copper Solid and Caged

Cool Facts: Each set of Flametouched Copper is individual because they are all heat treated to change the colouration of the metal, because heat is applied by hand the colouration on every set is different.
Ruby in Zoisite
Released at: PAX South
Cool Facts: also known as Anyolite, is a stone comprised of zoisite, pargasite, and ruby. The lighter green colour is zoisite, dark green or black is pargasite, and red or magenta colour is ruby. Ruby in Zoisite comes from Tanzania and Kenya.

Cool Facts: We created these exclusively for ECCC they were 4 Green anodised aluminium D6s in an aluminium casing created for them.
Toxic Diemetric Aluminium
Released at: C2E2
Cool Facts: This set has two separately anodised areas the black outer and the yellow numbering, it was very difficult to perfect this process as it is done on a molecular level… Also the black and yellow colouring is perfect for a Puff.
Raised Hematite, Eramosa Marble, Gold Sandstone, African Jade, Egyptian Marble

Cool Facts: We originally released the Raised Obsidian at NYCC in 2018, this was apart of a new process that we created, where we were able to hand engrave the numbers raised on the outside of the semi-precious stone. We then tried this process on other stones which created our raised semi-precious line.

Sylvan Opalite & Watermelon Tourmaline Glyphic

Cool Facts: These were the first creations of one of my personally favourite ranges. The glyphic range is created by our amazing Creative Technology Manager Rachel. Herself and Alex (CEO & Creator of LUD) go through different elements of the gaming industry to create these inspired sets. This set is based off Ancient forest fairy runes and wings.
Phoenix Lapis Lazuli

Cool Facts: This stone is synthetic which is a combination of Lapis Lazuli and Turquoise which because we loved the vibrant colourations we created dice out of them.

Fossilized Coral

Cool Facts: Its exactly how it sounds, it is fossilised coral that we make dice out of. Every set is different and when you purchase these at a convention you get to build your own set designed the way you prefer.
Blue Sandstone Chip

Cool Facts: Electronic motherboards and networks inspire the Chip Glyphic design. The design transforms the Blue Sandstone dice into an artifact, bringing the world of gemstones and circuitry together.
White Lavender Jade

Cool Facts: White Lavender Jade is a form of Jadeite, this Jade is mainly white with splashes of Jade green and lavender purple.
Damascus Ti

Cool Facts: Folding Steel and Titanium together to create a strong pretty metal and then making it into dice.
Moku Ti

Cool Facts: This is a Japanese style of metal folding that is folded with Titanium which has been heat treated which creates the perfect ripples of colours.
Damascus Brass

Cool Facts: There is only one set of Damascus Brass in the world and this is it. Steel and Brass folded together to create beautiful golden patterns throughout the metal.

Crown Crystal

Cool Facts: After much searching to find the right medium for our glass range, as well as many hours of testing, we are proud to present the worlds first optically clear crystal set of dice. The same material used in many lasers and optics, it sports an index of refraction of 1.5, this is a clearer medium than glass or Zircon and also sports a higher durability.
Sakura Rose Quartz Glyphic

Cool Facts: This glyphic pays homage to the beautiful flowers of Japan, the Cherry Blossom. The design not only features these small but iconic flowers but also alludes the way they float and dance their way down to the ground as they fall. These tiny beauties are hand-carved onto Rose Quartz, a stone that's well known for its delightfully pinkish hue, just like the Sakura themselves.

Arboretum Ruby in Zoisite & Picture Jasper Glyphic

Cool Facts: Glyphic Design is inspired by the ephemera found on forest floors in Autumn. Unlike their counterparts, the beautiful forest beings will live forever on the Glyphic stone dice, serving your Druid or Ranger forever.
Hyro Hematite & Tiger’s Eye Glyphic

Cool Facts: This design is based off the ancient Egyptian formal writing system, the Hieroglyphs. A combination of logos, symbols and alphabetic elements, these dice will help bring your ancient creatures to life on the table.

Cool Facts: These beauties pay homage to all things dark and mysterious. Featuring some rounded elements but mostly sudden and sharp shapes along with a mixture of sharp curves and points the design harken to medieval rosaries and sculptures, masquerades and the occult.

Cool Facts: First convention these vaults have been available before Wyrmwood were selling them on the floor, we have three exclusive woods, Maple, Mahogany and Bloodwood.

Cool Facts: We created exclusive Aluminium dice for Vampire the Masquerade in partner with Whitewolf, the clans we released in hunger and standard were Anarch, Thinblood, Ventrue, Tremere, Toreador, Nosferatu, Malkavian, Gangrel and Brujah.

Cool Facts: Working in collaboration with an Australian artist called Brie who makes handmade resin dice.
Ionized Sylvan Glyphic Raised Clear Quartz & Hematite

Cool Facts: With these sets we started to combine effects that we started to perfect with Ionized, Raised and adding our Glyphic font into the mix. These were the first sets to be made in our Ionized Glyphic and the beautiful gold and titanium molecules make the dice spring to life with colour.

Ivory Jade

Cool Facts: also known as Mutton Fat Jade and Chicken Bone Jade, is a Variation of Nephrite Jade and is a calcium magnesium silicate mineral. Ranging from white, off white or cream in colour.
Purple Cats Eye

Cool Facts: We created our first in house synthetic purple cats eye stone that has the cat’s eye effect. Cat’s Eye, also known as chatoyancy, is an optical effect on the stone where a band of reflected light is seen moving across the surface of the stone.
Topaz

Cool Facts: Topaz is generally regarded as a precious gemstone and is our first dice of that classification. It is the traditional birthstone for those born in November and comes in a wide range of naturally occurring colors. The topaz we use is the traditional, natural color and ranges from golden brown to yellow.
Black Network Agate

Cool Facts: its the same material as Indian Agate, a chalcedony otherwise known as microcrystalline quartz. The colour difference between Black Network Agate and Indian Agate lies in the various embedded materials.

DND Sapphire Anniversary Dice Set

Cool Facts: We worked closely with Wizards of the Coast to create an exclusive 45th Anniversary product for D&D. A complete set of eleven precision anodized luxury aluminum dice, The centerpiece of the set is a dice masterpiece, a d20 that contains an inlaid lab-grown sapphire in the place of the twenty.
Swash Font

Cool Facts: This font is inspired by the ruffians of the high seas it is very flowey and will keep you hooked… for sure. It is also a style of typography that stands for “flourish”. This was used on regular letters to evoke a sense of fancy, elegance, and luxury, a technique dating back to the 16th Century.

Cool Facts: This set was definitely incredible to see finished, these will send shivers up your spine with their spider inspired glyphic set. This takes inspiration from all things Lolth and Demonweb. The design features spindly thin lines of web carefully engraved across the surface of your stone dice, as well as the spider herself gracing the D4.

Cool Facts: This beautiful set works to bring a rainbow spin to the darkness that is raised obsidian. Which brings us to the end of the year.
